Yeah, customers as a whole are the dumbest tools around and I used to think it was a heavenly miracle that so many of them could find their way to the bathroom and figure out how to relieve themselves without a team of specialists to assist them. And those are the types that I used to have fun with.

Cust: "Eeeeeehhhhhhh......oh here it is."
ME: "Look to the right of that. You'll see a dollar sign and some numbers. Do you see that?"
Cust: "Yes."
Me: "That's the price."
Cust: "It says $7.95...so is that how much it is?"
Me: "Is that how much it says it is?"
Cust: "Yeah."
Me: "Excellent. Anything else I can help you with?"
Cust: "So is that how much it is?"
Me: "Is that how much it says it is?"
Cust: "Yes."
Me: "It is however much it says it is. That's the way bills work. They display the actual price of things you buy. Like a store or a resteraunt. Anything else I can help you with?"
Cust: "You're not very helpfull."
Me: "How is that? You asked me the price of caller ID and I showed you were the answer to you question can be found and you quoted the exact price to me. So you got the answer to your question through my help. Now, is there anything else I can help you with."
Cust: "You're no help to me at all!" *Click*
Me: *Sigh*

Did they want you to repeat what they said? I don't understand, it says $7.95. Maybe you should have said $7.94 but because you called me today, they added a penny on it, so yours in $ 7.95, so the next time you call it will be $ 7.96, so don't call again, or you'll get charged more.

Last month while I was picking up my standard pizza order in the village, the poor girl couldn't get my order totaled on the register and couldn't open the register door. She was new. But when she had to make change for $17.50 out of a twenty she had to ask the guy standing next to her. I can figure change in my head but I'm not quite as quick as Lisa is. Fast enough though.

From $17.50 I could do it, but not the odd change. Luckily, I've always had a cash register to do the calculations.
