Grokking the gimp is a sort of old time manual on how to manipulate stuff in the gimp with photos that i posted way back on leos board

I used the Gimp way back on leo's board to make up pics of wesley. At the time I knew nothing about it and it took me a few months of messing with it to be able to actually doctor up some pics

Personally I would stick with something store bought if you plan on doctoring photos. If you only want to do basic resizing and cropping of photos then I suggest paint.net at http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html

I have a resizer but think I'll leave this to yall.

Logo-making is the most advanced thing that I do. That involves more of a good sense of style rather than skill, though.
