I'm home. We had to go to my sisters 50Th wedding anniversary. I really had to be there cause I was part of the wedding party. 4 years old in a tux. I sure was a cute little s--t.
What happened other than 590 years in between.

I just hate these family things. always feel like I'm in the way. No one ever, ever, had any use for me unless there was some nasty dirty job that needed doing. Then they remembered me. I'm the guy that turned 9 and had his mother forget his birthday.

The worst part is my favorite aunt was coming. My mothers sister.
Aunt Peg always treated me like I belonged. She always care about me. Well the old girl is getting old. She's now on oxygen full time. (Except at night. She will not wear it because she is afraid of hanging herself. When her husband was still alive the doctors made him quit smoking. so he took up chewing on toothpicks. She always said smoking will not kill him but dutch elm disease might. )
The stories I could tell you about my crazy aunt Peg and her husband.

When she arrived everyone went to say hi. She still knew everyone and was happy to see them Until I walked up She called Roz by name and gave me a hug. As we walked away I heard her ask Lisa, my cousin who is that guy. That hurt. She is very frail and just knowing she'll be leaving us soon. I feel much worse about her going than I did about my folks when they died. (I guess that makes me a terrible guy.)


I'm sorry I don't normally stand around feeling sorry for myself. I needed to vent. Thanks for letting me bend your ears. Some times I need to vent and Roz and you folks are all I got. Thank you.

I'm sorry. I've got a favorite aunt, too. So I know it will hurt me if the day ever comes when she doesn't act like Dee Dee anymore and doesn't remember that I'm her favorite out of her other nieces and nephews.

Not a problem here. I'm the outcast here too so all you need to vent is cool by me!

Been gone now. Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work we shut off the T.V. and the computer. We spent the next few days talking and reading in the evening.
It's amazing how aaddicted we are to these damn boxes. Well as the little blond girl said....
