It looks like we're going to have a good day, 798 points so far. I'll have a 37 pointer this afternoon and a 600 tomorrow morning.

Naw. I need some more 400s. I hate these last two SOBs. They run slow and are very low on pts.

The 100 wu on my other computer is worth 155 points Probably since it takes like 10 days to crunch

The 600 pointers take 10 days last time I looked on this fast one I would hate to see how long those take on the slow one that takes 10 days to do 100 wu

When you set up your folding@home client, you have to accept work units of 5 megs or higher to get a 600 pointer They take about 10 days last time I looked They would be great on a cluster like a library computers but slow me down as I like to get 1 done a day like you as well

How do you guys figure out how long it will take to finish? I know there is Math to do that but, I'm too lazy.

I use the no nonsense client and a program called Electron Microscope that tells me a general time when my wu's will be done and also tells me the point value as well. I posted pics as well as Wabbit did too earlier in this thread your reading now.

this 100 on the fast computer will be done by 3 am tomorrow - taking about 12 1/2 minutes per frame while on the slower computer its taking 2 hours+ per frame

I think it is due to different types of 100's though

Your virus scanner probably kicked in and started scanning and slowed down the computer. I know AVG does that to mine alot since it is set to scan daily

Good idea, but I don't think so. I made sure it ran just before I went to hit the rack. The first thing and the last thing I do is run AD-aware,Spybot,and Panda. I been watching what is running for hours at times and that damn counter will change by min. hrs. and sometimes over a day up or down. I have watched it change up or down in the last 5 min. before it is done. Oh well it gets done when it gets done.
